This was a full frame shot from boat in south africa . cropped a bit water at bottom and bright up a bit subject and sharpen , normal editing for wildlife . 

It was rejected , I would like to learn whats the problem and how to imporve . Thanks !

Welcome back to the forum, and thank you for sharing this whale-watching photo with us. I'm sorry that it was rejected. It's an excellent capture of a special moment with good details and textures amid the splashing water. I am not a wildlife photographer, but I felt the brightness and definition could be taken a step further, so I have worked a little on those areas. I haven't changed the composition at all, or the colour. I wish you success if you decide to resubmit.

Hi Jennifer welcome back I see Elizabeth Allen has given you a few things to think about well done girl - This iss my take on your fine image - I di a selection and darkened the land mass to help the Whale stand out - Added Tonal Contras and sharpened - Also some dodge and bure on the animal thank you for sharing
