Hello, I'm wondering if there is a way to do a word search or better yet a "topic" search for articles in the Magazine?
There are some really interesting articles in the Archives but it's not easy to find topics of interest or relocate an article that I read without having to have to manually scroll down thought the months.
I think this would be a great enhancement to the site. There's a lot of effort by Yvette and team to create an interesting and relevent edition each month, if the functionality could improved to be able to search topics it would be another great resource for members. Perhaps this functionality already exists but I'm not able to figure out how to do it.
Even with the Tutorials section, they are groups into genres so it makes finding topics of interest a little easier.
Thanks
Kim
No, regrettably this search functionality does not (yet) exist. I agree that this would be a huge enhancement. If you try to find something interesting in the long list of magazine articles back to May 2013 you can call up the magazine archive and if in the title of the article your topic is named (e.g. "photographer of the week" or "exhibtion") you can find it via search function of your browser. Serching for "exhibition" brings you also to the 1x decade exhibition in Shanghai (January 2018). Very interesting, by the way.
On the other hand, a direct word search in the 1x search function may bring you more results than you can handle.
That's how I help myself.
Cheers, Hans-Martin
Hi Kimberly,I don't want to be wrong, but I suspect that the search engine works only by finding photographs and not discussion topics.I was looking for old thread that I vaguely remembered, but I had to open the various topics without finding that information I was looking for.
