Submit to curation: 1 photo per week OR no earlier than 7 days following the previous submission?

Hello everybody,
 
The FAQ states that "free members can send 1 photo to the curators each week". Is that really the case? Shouldn't it read as "free members can send a photo to the curators no earlier than 7 days following the previous submission"? Please correct me if I am wrong.
 
To illustrate, if I submit a photo on Monday (first week), and then again on Wednesday of week two, I have to wait 'til Wednesday of week three to obtain permission to submit another one?
 
Just want to clarify the facts.

PS. Why isn't it possible to display the date (and time) when the next free slot will be available? "You can submit 0 more photos this week" is not very helpful (especially when week doesn't mean calendar week).

Yes, you are correct. Each week refers to once every 7 days as opposed to a calendar week. I suppose clarifying this would e a good thing.
