Hello
Yesterday I sent a picutre for curation but after two minutes I noticed it was a bad version, so I Re-Uploaded but nothing happen -the same bad image is running in LIVE.
What's happening with the support??
Rickey,
Even if you upload the new version, it wouldn't be replaced immediately.
Maybe it needs the curators' confirmation to be replaced.
I don't know how long does it take, but if you are lucky, the newer version will be replaced during the curation process.
For me, some image were replaced in time (and fortunately published with the new one), and some were not.
Thank you for your reply. However, i don't understand why there is no option to delete the LIVE curator proccess.
Because you can exchange the photo also after curation. It needs to be reviewed, otherwise it may be exchanged by a completely different photo.
Hi everybody,
I had a photo that at the first curation was not published. Since I considered it worth being published and since I thought there may have been an oversight from the curators in judging my photo, I submitted it a second time with a new title and, this time it was published. Today I have found out to my surprise that the first submission has been published! After so long... Cannot imagine how it was possible... So now I have 2 identical photos with different names on my profile! I tried to upload a different version of the same to replace one of them. But I'd prefer it to be removed... Can you please advise? It's the first time I am confronted with such an occurence.

This is the photo mentioned in my previous post and which ended up being published twice.

Hi Ludmilla,
First the rules: strictly speaking it is not allowed to represent a "not selected" image.
At least this was the rule in the past, I am not so sure if it still applies since the big tranformation of the site.
Anyway, nobody seems to care about the rule.
I suppose you did not remove the "not selected" version of your photo from your "images" page.
If so, a head curator reviewing your portfolio can still pick up your photo for award.
This is probably what happened with the first version, while the second was in curation and finally passed.
Conclusion: if you want to represent a not selected image, first delete the older version from your portfolio.
Now your photo is awarded twice you can not remove one from your portfolio.
You have to ask support for deletion of one of both.

Thank you, Luc, for the explanation... I confess I was not aware that a not-selected image can be selected and revived at a later date from the sad pool of rejected works. As for not submitting it again after a first brutal rejection, I must say I did that several times (because I believed in the quality of that respective work) and I was surprised to see that a second time the photo was highly appreciated and even awarded. Had I not tried to give it a second chance I would have missed the glory of an award :-). I wrote about this in the forum, have a look at the thread "Is curation a joke?"...
ok, from now on I shall delete the not-selected items.
thank you for making it clear.
